"So far it's a great backpack! Coming from a Goruck GR1, this is a very well made bag. It is much more flexible, and many of the design choices such as the vertical front zip and mesh pockets work better than the ones in the GR1. Quality is very good although I think the zipper pulls are made of shoelace? Replace them with Paracord. Cordura feels very good. A bit scratchy but much more flexible which helps a lot. Back laptop compartment fits a 16 inch laptop no problems. Compression straps do an excellent job compressing the bag and keeping it from flopping all over the place. Zippers are smooth as butter, not sure if they're YKK but they seem just as good to me. Cons: Some of the hardware feels a bit cheap, although it might hold up just fine. Nylon webbing and grab handle also don't feel as robust as other bags. Like all things though time will well. Overall. Great bag and highly recommend, especially for the price!"

Do not buy, the quality has significantly changed

"I have recently ordered 12hour backpack and it is awesome! So I wanted something for longer travels. Unfortunately the quality of this backpack cannot even be compared to 12hour backpack I ordered. It looks like cheap chinese knock-off. Zippers are no longer YKK, they feel like plastic. Inner mesh is zero quality. There is no inside coating of the backpack in comparison to 12hour backpack. The quality of the fabric is also much worse. I am very disappointed since I do not believe this is USA made like it is stated. This backpack was a waste of money."

"I have almost every style of bag that Jake has designed and I seemed to always alternate between the 12hr, barrel duffle and 72hr duffle until I got the 24hr plus! While all the bags are great and I utilize them everyday the 24hr plus bag is perfect for my 24 hour shifts. I can fit an extra pair of clothes, shoes, toiletry bag and some addition misc. clothes. The name is rather fitting. I would highly recommend this bag!"

"I have been using my 24-hour plus backpack daily for several months. Initially, there was a problem with receiving the wrong color backpacks, but this was quickly resolved and corrected. (I ordered a black multicam backpack but initially received just black. ) I have been pleased with my backpack's design, look, quality, and functionality. I am contemplating inserting a rigid molle-type panel, especially for road trips, and I still might. I would recommend this backpack to anyone."
