To say that my gear is built to last would be putting it mildly. All of my products are hand-made in the USA using the highest quality military spec binding, webbing, elastic, and 1000D cordura nylon.
As a firefighter since 2004, I understand how durable fire hose is. I've used that insider knowledge to create everyday items that you'll carry and abuse daily. From long and upcycled wallets, to laptop bags and belts, all items you see for sale here were designed at my shop in Louisville, Kentucky.

Read Jake's BioWith a lot of hard work! It took our founder, Jake Starr, nearly 6 months of research and development until he managed to create his very first recycled fire hose wallet.
Aside from using decommissioned hose, we also stitch our products with size 90 nylon thread, use 1" military spec binding as edging, and create interiors out of 1000D cordura nylon. The ID windows are made out of 40 gauge clear vinyl.
Recycled fire hose from all parts of the United States is the key material in our products. This not only allows us to make some extremely durable items, but also keeps those materials from having a negative environmental impact by contributing to landfills.
Furthermore, by hiring local talent and using American-made hardware and supplies, we're able to offer 1000D cordura backpacks for sale without having to rely on factories overseas and pollution-producing cargo ships.
Crafted out of recycled fire hose, our American-made belts are built to be affordable, modern-looking, and highly resistant to wear and tear. The EDC version is specifically designed to stay stiff all day for maximum 2A or Concealed Carry comfort.
You really can't go wrong by choosing a well-made, long-lasting item that an individual can use in just about any situation, but that also has a one-of-a-kind quality that can't be replicated by products that came off an assembly line. Our products are all of that and more!
Contact us today and surprise your favorite firefighter with personalized gifts for him that he'll use for many years to come. Due to being handcrafted out of repurposed materials, every item in our catalog may have a slightly different hue and come with minor scuffs and markings that speak of its unique history.
At Recycled Firefighter, we can proudly say we've saved and recycled more than 20 tons of decommissioned fire hose since 2015. Over the years, our commitment to excellence and innovation has earned us thousands of positive reviews and many loyal customers.
