Another phenomenal year has come and gone. As always, we're left to ponder over what our favorite gear of 2017 was. And this year, 2 knives have stood head & shoulders above the rest...Deeming them, the Best Knives of 2017 for Every Day Carry.

Benchmade Proper 319

We did a full review on the Benchmade Proper 319 a couple of months ago, here. In that review, we mentioned that this knife breaks all of the molds that manufacturers have been following for so many years. This knife is something special and it hasn't left my pocket for close to 4 months or so (I anticipate it will stay there in 2018 as well).

Spyderco Sage 5 

The Sage 5 by Spyderco ties the Benchmade Proper in my book as the Best 2017 EDC Knife. They are two totally different knives. But both are very well-suited foeverydayay carry. They're small, lightweight, classy and hold an unbelievable edge. I would have to say, these two knives have took up 85% of my pocket time throughout 2017.
