What is the flag made from?
This edition is the waterproof one - crafted from real decommissioned 5" rubber supply line fire hose. The rubber construction makes it weather-resistant, so this is the flag built to live outside on a covered patio, dock, outdoor bar, or fire station bay. Heavy-duty 30oz cotton canvas backs the inside, but the rubber face shrugs off rain and humidity.
What are the dimensions?
The flag measures 24 inches by 42 inches - a bold statement size that anchors a wall in a den, office, garage, or firehouse.
How do I mount it?
Four heavy-duty brass grommets are set into the corners (the larger versions add a center grommet too) so you can hang it flat against a wall with nails, screws, or hooks. The grommets are built to handle the weight of the hose and backing without tearing.
Will my flag have unique markings on it?
Yes - every flag is one-of-a-kind. The rubber hose came off real fire scenes, so each piece carries its own scuffs, water stains, faded stenciling, and surface marks from service. The waterproof rubber adds even more texture and character than the fabric versions, so no two flags read the same.
Which American Flag is right for me?
Picking the right flag depends on the look and story you want. Here are all the editions in the family:
- Classic Fire Hose - $249, 24x42, coyote border
- Extra Large Fire Hose - $299, bigger statement piece
- Thin Red Line - $249, fire service tribute
- Thin Blue Line - $249, law enforcement tribute
- Second Amendment - $249, constitutional theme
- Vintage - $249, aged aesthetic
- Arid Border - $249, desert-tone binding
- Betsy Ross - $249, historic 13-star
How is it constructed for durability?
The rubber fire hose face is naturally water-resistant and built to handle weather most wall art can't touch. A 30oz cotton canvas backing keeps it flat, and the edges are bound in 1" MilSpec coyote binding - the same heavy webbing used on tactical gear - to lock everything together. Four brass grommets handle the mounting without tearing through the rubber.
