What is the flag made from?

This flag is built from real decommissioned 5-inch supply line fire hose. The difference on this edition is the binding - the edges are wrapped in 1-inch MilSpec arid multicam binding instead of the standard coyote. That desert-tone border gives the flag a different look while keeping the rugged fire hose body. The backing is 30oz cotton canvas.

What are the dimensions?

The flag measures 24 inches by 42 inches - the standard Large size. It is a serious wall statement at that size and looks great in a home, office, fire station, garage, or man cave.

How do I mount it?

The flag comes ready to hang with four solid brass grommets - one in each corner of the field. Hang it with nails, screws, or hooks on any wall. The 30oz cotton canvas backing keeps it stable and flat against the surface.

Will my flag have unique markings on it?

Yes, and that is part of the story. Each piece of hose has a service history - faint paint marks, ladder company numbers, hydrant scuffs, soot, or sun fade. We do not scrub those off. Your flag will look like the photos in spirit, but the exact wear patterns will be unique to your piece. No two flags are identical.

Three layers of overbuild. First, the hose itself is rated for fireground use. Second, the 30oz cotton canvas backing gives the whole panel structure so it hangs flat. Third, the 1-inch MilSpec arid binding wraps every edge to stop fraying - same durability as the standard coyote binding, just a different look. Hand-cut, glued, and sewn in our Cape Coral workshop.
