Authentic repurposed 5" LDH (large diameter hose) on the exterior, fully lined with rugged 1000D Cordura®, edged with 1.5" Mil-Spec binding, and reinforced with T-70 bonded nylon thread throughout.
The mat is 40" x 16" — plenty of room for a full-size rifle and your tools. The integrated zippered pouch is 15" x 6.5".
The built-in YKK-zippered pouch keeps small accessories, cleaning supplies, and tools secure and within reach. It has a durable paracord zipper pull for easy use.

"The quality of the long rife mat, firehose edition is exceptional, it will last a lifetime. This mat is robust with some heft, lays flat, the recycled firehose work side of the mat is an optimal material for oils and solvents. Finishing details like stitching, edging, zippers, etc. are impeccable; yes a rife mat but it’s beautiful. Highly recommend, you get what you pay for."

"There are hundreds of gun mats on the market, and 99% of them are cheap, generic overseas knockoffs. They’re made with subpar materials, shoddy craftsmanship, and before long they’re curling up, coming apart, or falling to pieces. If you spend any time behind a scope, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Just from the few pieces of gear I own from Recycled Firefighter I know what they’re about. Their products aren’t built to meet a price point. . they’re built to last. Heavy duty materials, outstanding craftsmanship, and an overbuilt design that can take real world use and abuse. So when I saw they made a gun mat, I already knew what to expect. Bombproof. Badass. Built to last as long as the rifles sitting on top of it.
