Is it safe for my dog?

It's built for supervised, interactive play - tug-of-war and fetch with you. It is not an unattended chew toy. Inspect it regularly and stop using it if it gets damaged.

How big is it?

The firehose bite section is 10" x 3", and the whole toy is 18" long including the handle - enough reach to keep your hand well clear of your dog's teeth during tug.

What is it made from?

Real decommissioned fire hose that served on the line, cleaned and rebuilt into a dog toy. Because it's repurposed hose, every one has its own lettering, scuffs, and color - no two are identical.

Will my heavy chewer destroy it?

Fire hose is tough, but no toy is indestructible. This is made for active tug and fetch, not for being left alone with a determined chewer. Supervise play and retire it if it starts to wear through.

How do I clean it?

Wipe it down or rinse it and let it air dry. The hose shrugs off dirt and slobber.
